Welcome to Lana's Fitness.com! This is the place to find out more about the fitness classes I offer through the Lincoln Recreation Department. Resistance training: In this class we work on building strength and improving balance and flexibility. Resistance training brings great benefits: supporting healthy metabolism, preventing bone loss, improving posture and joint stability. Health is beauty - as you get stronger your body transforms - fat melts away, muscle gets firm, you stand tall and proud, your energy levels increase. Beginners resistance training : If you don't have a lot of experience with strength training, this class is a good place to start. The pace of this class lets you focus on learning the correct form of the exercises, improving your body awareness and getting familiar and comfortable with the equipment. Resistance Training with Cardio Conditioning : This class is structured to challenge all of your body's systems. You will get a comprehensive workout that involves your muscles, heart and lungs. I design these classes to keep you challenged - every time you come in the workout will be different - this is not only to make it fun, but also to shock your body a little - that ensures constant progress. We use dumbbells, stability balls, medicine balls, resistance bands and bodyweight exercises. See you in class!
